Winter Seeding & Cafe
Hosted by Wild Ones Mid-Hudson Valley ChapterVolunteers Needed Public Welcome Family-Friendly Free Event Hands-On/How-To Workshop Seed Handling Free Public Parking
We will seed four beds in the one of the VC Community Garden plots with native grasses and flowers. These seeds will germinate in the spring and we will be monitoring and caring for these plants through the year. Eventually these plants will be used for seed collection. We will also take a look at the VCCG meadow planted last year and do a short appraisal of where it is, plant-wise.
After seeding the beds we'll head to a local cafe, the Crafted Kup at 44 Raymond Avenue, to warm up and have a snack.
Registration is coming soon.
