Photo Contest Now Open

Calling all Wild Ones photographers! Share the beauty of native plants and scenery by entering the 2020 Wild Ones Photo Contest. The contest, open to Wild Ones members only, has the following categories: Flora , Scenery, Pollinators, Natural Landscaping, Wild Ones Projects and Photos by Kids.

Youth are eligible! Do you have a child/teen under 18 who’s a great photographer? They have their own “Photos by Kids” category because they have their own, very unique perspective on the world around us.

It’s easy. You can enter photos that have been taken within the last 3 years, so this could be as simple as looking through your digital photo files, reading the contest guidelines and filling out an entry form.

Recognition. There are cash prizes for 1st place winners and bragging rights if your photos win 2nd or 3rd place.

Your photos will also grace the Wild Ones website, publications and other literature (credited to you, of course).

What it’s all about. By submitting photos, you will be inspiring others through the beauty of native plants and supporting the Wild Ones mission by educating the public about environmentally sound landscaping practices.

You’re not a photographer but are a photo appreciator? You can participate by voting for your favorite photo among entrants! After the initial voting, members will be able to view the entries online on the members‐only website and vote for the People’s Choice Award.

Entries must be submitted by Sunday, November 1st, 2020.
